Product Description |
| This electric brad nailer from Stanley fires 5/8-inch to 1-1/4-inch 18-gauge brad nails and has a comfortable, soft-grip handle. The cap and trigger reduce hand fatigue, and the easy-slide load magazine makes it fast and easy to restock your fasteners. There's also an easy jam-clearing mechanism to save time and hassles, and a brad-empty indicator to help keep the work flowing. Adjust the power (hi/low) with just the turn of a dial. |

it works

| If the TRE650 is used properly, it works ... and it works well. Don't try to use it as a framing nailer. |
Great Value for the occasional user.

| This nailer is perfect for the occasional small job. It is compact, doesn't seem to jam and if you support the top firmly as instructed it will set the nails below the surface of the wood just the right amount for putty coverup. I would buy it again. |
If an old lady can do it...so can you

I wanted to add molding to my walls after installing flooring. My budget didn't allow paying someone else. So I put it down myself. Did a good job, too, thanks to the Stanley Brad Nailer. Easy to operate, even for a woman my age (I'll never see 69 again).
For jobs of this type I would highly recommend this tool to anyone. |
Good but......

| This was delivered in a perfect time frame. Another great sales job by Amazon. Lets face it, all electric nailers are underpowered to a degree. At first i thought this thing was a piece of junk but as I started to get the hang of it i was able to put a 1 inch brad all the way in corner molding. It works and in my opinion it is built pretty well. it does not feel like junk anyway. It you want perfect nailing everytime get a pneumatic. |
under-powered

| I had to return a Stanley TRE550 Staple/Brad gun because it could not set a 5/8" brad in pine or poplar. I ordered the "heavy duty" TRE650 witch claimed to handle up to 1 1/4" brads. It appeared to be a really nice unit, easy load, good safety, and variable power. Well I had to crank it up to full power to get it to set a 5/8" brad in white pine and it came up just short of setting the 5/8" brad in poplar. Stanley has long had a reputation of quality tools and I own many of their products but their power staple and brad guns are pitifully under-powered. I plan to return this unit and purchase a numatic unit. |
